What We Collect

Video files: Uploaded by you, processed server-side, then automatically deleted after 24 hours. We never view or share your clips.

Analytics: Page views and usage events collected via Umami — fully anonymized, no cookies, no personal identifiers stored.

IP addresses: Processed in memory for per-request rate limiting only; not written to disk or retained.

How We Use Your Data

Video files are used solely to produce the converted clip you requested. Analytics data helps us understand how the tool is used in aggregate. IP addresses are used only for abuse prevention.

Video files are deleted automatically 24 hours after upload. Analytics data is aggregate and contains no personal identifiers. IP addresses are not stored to disk.

Analytics

We use Umami, a self-hosted, cookieless analytics tool. Umami does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personally identifiable information. Because Umami is cookieless, no cookie consent banner is required under GDPR.

Your Rights

If you believe we hold personal data about you and wish to request deletion, contact us at hello@vertikl.fyi. In practice, because we do not retain personal data beyond a 24-hour TTL for video files, there is typically nothing to delete.
